Description:
Tylosin Tartrate is a macrolide
antibiotic that exerts its bacteriostatic effect by binding to the 50S
ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria and mycoplasma. This binding inhibits
the translocation step of protein synthesis by preventing the transfer of
peptidyl-tRNA from the ribosomal A-site to the P-site, effectively halting the
elongation of peptide chains. By disrupting protein synthesis, Tylosin tartrate
suppresses bacterial and mycoplasmal growth, making it highly effective against
a range of pathogens.
KP Tylo-WS Powder is indicated for
the treatment of:
•Poultry:
-Respiratory Tract Infections:
-Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD)
caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Complex Chronic Respiratory Disease (CCRD)
involving secondary bacterial infections, Infectious Coryza (Avibacterium
paragallinarum), Fowl Cholera (Pasteurella multocida), Infectious Synovitis (Mycoplasma
synoviae).
Gastrointestinal Tract Infections:
-Egg Apex Abnormality Syndrome
(EAAS) associated with mycoplasmal infections.
•Swine:
-Various bacterial and mycoplasmal
infections responsive to Tylosin Tartrate, including respiratory and
gastrointestinal tract infections.

Dosage:
Chicken: 1 g per 1-2 liters of
water continuously for 3-5 days
