Description:
Enrofloxacin is a broad-spectrum
fluoroquinolone antibiotic with potent bactericidal activity against both
Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Its mechanism of action involves the
inhibition of bacterial
DNA-gyrase (a Type II
topoisomerase), which is essential for DNA supercoiling and replication. By
disrupting this critical process, enrofloxacin effectively prevents bacterial
DNA synthesis, leading to rapid cell death.
Clinically, Kenoxin is indicated
for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections in dogs and cats,
including gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urinary tract infections, as well
as dermatological conditions associated with bacterial inflammation. Its
targeted action and high bioavailability make it a reliable choice for managing
bacterial pathogens and promoting optimal recovery in companion animals.

Purpose and Conditions of Use:
It is indicated for the treatment

Dosage:
Dog and Cat:
1 tablet per 5 kg body weight for
3-5 days.
Or as per the recommendation of
the Veterinarian.
